Making sure your nonprofit organization is properly set up in the right state(s), so you can get to work changing the world and rest assured that you’re covered, legally. Support includes:
Preparing and filing formation and foreign qualification docs in the appropriate state(s)
Obtaining your nonprofit’s EIN and drafting initial bylaws and first meeting minutes
Obtaining 501(c)(3) status (federal tax exemption) with the IRS and state tax exemption in the appropriate state(s)
Registering for charitable solicitations in the appropriate state(s)
Obtaining sales tax exemption in the appropriate state(s) (if your nonprofit qualifies for this in any of the states where you’re doing all of your good work!)
